In his 35 years as a lawyer, Larry’s practice has revolved around intricate commercial real estate transactions, financing, disputes, workouts and modifications. His initial training and experience was on behalf of owners, borrowers and lenders in commercial real estate related litigation and commercial real estate bankruptcies. He was certified as a Bankruptcy specialist by the State Bar of Arizona from 1991-2008. Larry has extensive experience in conceptualizing multi-faceted transactions, and understanding the reasons they fail and how they might be successfully restructured in order to maximize the client’s gain or minimize the client’s exposure.
Larry’s practice emphasizes the structuring and documentation of raw land, development and multifamily real estate purchases and sales, borrower and lender loan transactions and modifications, note purchases, leasing and resolution of all related disputes, both in and out of formal litigation. He also represents individuals and business entities involved in the restructure of debt both in and out of bankruptcy court. What makes Larry unique is that he provides legal counsel with a full understanding of how a client’s business operates and how their real estate investments, assets and financing fit into their overall organizational objectives. As a result of his years of experience with projects from conception to completion, Larry has a unique perspective on how to best deliver what his clients want while ensuring they get what they need. Larry works with clients by taking a holistic approach in balancing the client’s long range plans, while assisting them in overcoming any short term legal challenges they may face that can have a direct impact on the companies bottom-line and growth initiatives.
