Amy Sells is a first generation Thai American and the first in her family to become an attorney. Amy worked in law firms to finance her undergraduate and law school education, holding every title imaginable before she began practicing law as a commercial litigator. Amy’s litigation experience led her to develop a passion for appellate practice and legal writing, which motivated her to found an appellate practice group at Tiffany & Bosco.
Today, Amy is a leader in appellate practice. She has handled nearly 100 appeals, was twice nominated to the Governor as a judicial candidate for the Arizona Court of Appeals, and is consistently recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Lawyer in appellate law. Amy handles federal and state appeals concerning a range of issues, including commercial law, bankruptcy, real estate, and family law. In addition to appeals, Amy specializes in preparing and arguing major and dispositive motions.
Amy is a certified CLE presenter through the State Bar of Arizona, and speaks on topics relating to appellate practice and legal writing. She also enjoys volunteering her time to initiatives that enrich Arizona’s legal community through diversity and inclusion.
Outside of the firm, Amy is the proud mother of five children, two of whom have special needs, and all of whom bring her tremendous joy.
