Marcos A. Tapia recently graduated as part of Class 39 of Arizona’s Valley Leadership Institute

Attorney Marcos A. Tapia recently graduated as part of Class 39 of Arizona’s Valley Leadership Institute (“VLI”). Upon graduation, Marcos was selected as part of the winning team for this year’s team project competition; a competition that promotes VLI participates in creating a project that will have a substantial and long lasting positive effect in Arizona’s community. Each year, approximately 50 class members are selected for the nine-month program. VLI curates each Leadership Institute cohort through a robust selection and matching process that builds a diverse group primed to expand their reach in the community and who have the time commitment for meaningful and lasting impact. Through a broad spectrum of programming, VLI goes beyond traditional leadership programs by empowering high-potential and proven leaders to advance their passions and accelerate their pursuits. Comprised of a cross-sector mix of diverse leaders, the program empowers participants to have a deeper impact on the issues via an expectation of “doing”, both short-term and long-term. VLI fosters commitment to tackling Arizona’s challenges and give participants the know-how and network to get things done.
