Education
Riley L. Arter dedicates her practice to estate planning and trust administration. A Southern California native, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, to attend the University of Arizona for her undergraduate studies. Riley received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies with a minor in Psychology. She then graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, earning her Juris Doctor and certificates for Transactional Business Law and Family Law. While at James E. Rogers, Riley was on the editorial board of the Journal of Emerging Technologies and published her note: “Access to Justice and the Elderly: A Look at End-of-Life Care Planning and Law Tech.” She was also a member of the university’s “Law Women’s Association.”
Riley is currently a Board Member of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section and a Co-Director of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council’s Emerging Professionals Group. She is also presently pursuing a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy Designation through the American College to assist clients that are charitably inclined in their lifetime and post-mortem gifting transactions.
Riley is passionate about estate planning and appreciates her ability to help clients plan for the future and protect their legacies.
In her spare time, Riley likes to play volleyball, attend live concerts, and hang out with her cat, Mila.
