Biography

Katheirne D. Carpenter is a creditors’ rights attorney with a multijurisdictional practice, primarily focused on residential foreclosures in the state of Kentucky. Throughout her career Katie has represented creditors primarily in consumer foreclosure and bankruptcy matters. She also has experience handling commercial foreclosure and bankruptcy, loan restructuring, receivership issues, and litigation pertaining to title issues, loan servicing, and lender liability.

Prior to obtaining her law degree, Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Youngstown State University in Political Science, graduating summa cum laude. She later earned a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Katie completed a Judicial Externship and participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic.

In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling and hiking, with a goal to visit all the U.S. National Parks. When not outdoors, she can be found spending quality time with her husband, their dog, and two cats.
