DAVID COWLES practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and appeals. He has represented clients in disputes involving a wide range of areas of the law, including contract, construction, officer and director liability, nuclear tort, Federal Indian law, professional liability, securities fraud, intellectual property, and real estate. He has argued before the Arizona Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
After graduating from law school, where he was Associate Articles Editor for the law review, David clerked for the Honorable Frederick J. Martone at both the Arizona Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Before law school, David taught Philosophy at Arizona State University.
