BIOGRAPHY
Lance is a litigation associate with our firm. His practice focuses in general Civil Litigation, Intra-Corporate Disputes, Business Divorce, Director, Officer, Manager, Shareholder, and Owner Disputes, Commercial Lease Enforcement, and Appellate work. Lance has had significant recent success seeking provisional remedies that permit clients to collect, attach and garnish assets at the beginning of litigation (before the Complaint is served in some instances) instead of at the conclusion.
During law school, Lance served as an extern for the Executive Office of the President of the United States, Office of National Drug Control Policy, Office of Legislative Affairs. Lance also served as an extern for the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Arizona. He was the Public Relations Editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law at the University of Arizona. While in school, Lance served on the Student Bar Association as well as the Building, Finance, and Alumni Committees. In 2005 Lance became the first student to win both of the Law School’s trial argument competitions, the Jenckes Closing Argument Competition and the Grand Damages Argument Competition, in the same year. Lance was awarded the 2005 William T. Birmingham Award for Trial Advocacy. Lance received the 2005 Law College Association Achievement Award. Lance has been involved with the Arizona State High School Mock Trial Program since 1994, as a participant, a coach and as a co-author of the yearly case problem.
